How this site handles your information

Short version: your details go to Charles so he can give you a home value and follow up. They are never sold, and you can ask him to delete them at any time.

What is collected

When you ask for an estimate, the site records the property address you enter. When you book a walkthrough, sign up for value updates, ask for the report by text, or send a message, it also records the name, phone number and email address you provide, along with anything you type into the message field.

The site also records basic technical information every website receives: your IP address, browser type, the page you arrived from, and any campaign tags in the link you followed, such as a postcard code or a Google Ads click identifier. This is stored in a cookie so Charles can tell which of his campaigns brought you here.

Why it is collected

To produce the preliminary estimate you asked for, to let Charles contact you about it, to send the updates or report you requested, and to understand which marketing is working.

Nothing here is used for automated decisions about you, and the site does not attempt to identify you unless you give your details voluntarily.

Who else sees it

Your information is not sold, rented, or traded. It is not shared with other agents or with data brokers.

It is handled by the services that make the site work: the property data provider that generates the estimate, the hosting platform, and the customer relationship system Charles uses to keep track of his conversations. Each of those only receives what it needs to do its job, and each is bound to use it only for that purpose.

It may also be disclosed where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid legal request.

How long it is kept

Estimates are cached for about 30 days so the numbers do not go stale. Contact details are kept for as long as Charles is working with you, and afterwards for the period his brokerage requires records to be retained. Ask him to delete yours sooner and he will.

Your California rights

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information has been collected about you, to get a copy of it, to have it deleted, and to correct it if it is wrong.

You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of those rights. Charles does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.

To make a request, contact Charles Yoon, charles.y@jaeagency.net, (650) 399-5165. You will be asked to confirm your identity so the information is not handed to the wrong person, and you should have a response within 45 days.

Text messages and email

Giving your phone number means Charles or his team may call or text you about your home value. Standard message and data rates apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them.

Monthly value updates are email only and every one carries an unsubscribe link.

Cookies

The site uses a small number of cookies: one that remembers where you came from so leads are attributed to the right campaign, and, where analytics are enabled, Google Analytics cookies that measure how the site is used in aggregate. There is no advertising network tracking on this site.

About the estimate

The value shown here is a preliminary estimate generated from public records and recent comparable sales. It is not an appraisal, not a formal comparative market analysis, and not an offer to buy or sell. It cannot see the inside of your home, so it can be meaningfully wrong in either direction. Only a visit and a proper analysis produce a number you should rely on.
